Being a Cubs Team Leader is a special feeing. Supporting our team members, young people and families you can help shape the culture and feel of our teams. If you’re passionate, practical, and proud to be inclusive, then being a Cubs Team Member is perfect for you.
Cubs start small but think big, making the very most of what they have and seeking out adventures wherever they go. Throughout their journey, you’ll help them work towards a range of skill-boosting badges and awards. From athletics and astronomy to photography and pioneering, there’s something for everyone to get stuck into.
In terms of structure, there may be more than one Cub Section Team leader in charge, or there may be just one. Other Cub Section Team members and helpers – usually take on different responsibilities to help. Whether you assign someone to help you count the pennies, to share their knowledge on a particular topic, or to do the dishes on camp, it’s all about working with your fellow volunteers to make it happen.
We promise you’ll feel energised, excited, and enthusiastic (OK, and maybe slightly worn out), but one thing’s for sure, you’ll definitely be back for more.
You’ll never be bored when you’re helping at Cubs. You might be giving skills for life to future technicians, musicians, or even politicians. No matter who they are, our Cubs need people like you to guide them. Whether you’re baking up a storm, or deep diving into the world of synchronised swimming, everyone can explore their hobbies at Cubs (and even discover some new ones).
So, get out into your community, get to know like-minded people, and work together with your fellow volunteers to give our Cubs the courage they need to try something new.
We are looking to start a new Cub pack & expand our existing packs in Prestbury and need people like You to join our team!
